TICO is an equipment solutions company that has been in business since 1946. TICO owns and operates a fleet of over 2,500 terminal tractors and terminal trailers deployed in major U.S. ports. TICO also manufactures terminal tractors and terminal trailers in our production plant. We are seeking an CDL Driver to be responsible for operating a tractor/trailer rated at 80,000 lbs., to transport materials and or equipment. Driver is responsible for following all applicable laws, maintaining logs of their activities, and maintaining and protecting all property entrusted to them.
Operate truck with capacity of more than 3 tons, to re-position the truck and/or trailer to another location and/or facility, or transport materials on company property or public highway to and from specified destinations. Driver is responsible for following all applicable laws, keeping logs of their activities, and maintaining and protecting all property entrusted to them in excellent condition.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are:
Current Class A Driver’s License, TWIC card, and Medical Card.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Two years of flatbed truck driver experience, as well as demonstrated ability to operate a commercial tractor safely at all times. A thorough knowledge of traffic laws and DOT regulations.
