Talbert House is seeking a Food Service Specialist.
$1000 Sign on Bonus for Regional Food Service Specialist:
$500 after completion of New Employee Orientation, $500 after completing 6 months close supervision.
WORK LOCATION: 5234 St. Rt. 63 (Lebanon)
FLSA STATUS: Hourly Non-Exempt

Talbert House is looking for a Food Service Specialist at our regional sites located in Lebanon Ohio. The Food Service Specialist (FSS) is responsible for batch cooking setting up and clearing serving lines and dining room areas-including paper products, beverages, ice, condiments, etc. Performs preparation work, and assists Food Service Specialist Practitioner as needed with slicing, mixing, baking, frying, grilling, etc.. The FSS is responsible for ordering supplies, assisting in food preparation and meals and following established protocols.
  • Prepare and inspect food for quality and freshness
  • Follow menus, safety and sanitary protocols
  • Clean and /or help supervise clients in cleaning kitchen, dining area, pots/pans and equipment and properly dispose of waste.
  • May order, stock and maintain food supply inventory
  • May utilize cash register for customer purchases
  • Operate equipment and ensure equipment is kept in good order

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1 year of food service experience
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
  • Must have Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
  • ServSafe Certification preferred
  • 2+  years of food service experienced
