The Administrative Specialist will provide excellent customer service and serve as specialized administrative support to the program/department. The ADM position is responsible for but not limited to: using appropriate office systems to perform administrative tasks, keeping records and producing work in a confidential, accurate and timely manner.
  • Serve as general administrative support to program or department. Produces typed routine and confidential correspondence, reports, proofreads material for accuracy and completeness.
  • Complete and provide accurate and timely documentation and record keeping.
  • Provides preliminary contact with public, visitors, callers.
  • Communicate key information in a timely manner, both verbally and in writing.
  • Completes forms, files and records in a confidential, accurate, timely manner.
  • Uses appropriate automated office systems and software to perform administrative tasks.
  • Obtains, organizes and drafts technical and administrative materials for public information or organizational use.
  • Efficiently operates personal computer to enter, edit and/or retrieve data and to produce reports and documentation.

  • Associate Degree or Higher or High School Diploma and 5 years of related experience
  • Type 40 wpm
  • A valid driver’s license and current auto insurance may be required
  • Must be able to climb stairs in a 4 Story Building
Must have great computer software skills, data entry/tracking experience preferred, able to multitask and work in multiple computer systems, very organized, good time management skills, friendly personality, and a people person because there is a lot of interacting with internal and external customers as well as staff. This is a first shift position so the hours will range from roughly 7:30am-5:00pm.
