$1000 Sign on Bonus for Resident Advisor at Serenity Hall:
$500 after completion of New Employee Orientation, $500 after completing 6 months close supervision.

The Resident Advisor will provide excellent customer service to Talbert House clients to ensure safety, care and monitoring.  The position requires the ability to give direction, monitor behavior and take action in a variety of residential settings in our Court and Corrections and Housing programs. Our Serenity Hall location is a 36 bed adult male facility that provides clients with corrective thinking, employment, housing and court assistance.
  • Monitor buildings and grounds to assure safety, custodial care, observation of clients and security of property.
  • Direct client activities.
  • Assist clients and peers in making decisions utilizing established protocols.
  • Observe, investigate situations, report findings, and take action as appropriate to job role.
  • Perform related security and safety functions
  • Handle and or assist in emergency situations.
  • Perform routine intake duties as required by site.
  • Monitor clients’ location and behaviors
  • Complete and provide accurate and timely documentation and record keeping.
  • Communicate key information in a timely manner.
  • Conduct drug screens and pat-downs for security checks.

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must complete an internal training process to become a certified drug test collector within 30 days of hire.
  • A valid driver’s license and current auto insurance may be required.
