Our nursing home is set up in mini-communities that are clean, vibrant and active, exhibiting an at-home atmosphere that is personalized for each resident. We offer traditional nursing services such as therapy, hospice care, long-term care, and skilled nursing. Our rehabilitative therapy services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, along with therapeutic recreation.

We are looking for a Part-Time Medical Assistant who has a passion for caring for others, is team oriented and possess a strong dependable work ethic.

Requirements for Employment
Has a completed a registered or certified Medical Assistant program
Provide proof of a High School Diploma or GED
Pass a Criminal Background Check, Pre-employment Physical a
nd Drug Screen
Job Summary
Provide a clerical skill set to assistant the Facility Medical Director, which includes but is not limited to the following; transporting elders to the Doctor's office for appointments, sorting and prioritizing medical paperwork, such as; medication lists are current and up-to-date, up-to-date list of allergies, communicating with the nursing staff to report any changes in the elders behaviors, care and food intake and ensuring labs are completed. Must have great attention to detail, be organized and have excellent computer skills.
Working conditions include standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling and reaching frequently. Possible exposure to conditions normally expected of Elder care areas, such as unpleasant sights, odors and difficult interpersonal situations. Potential for injury and exposure to blood and body fluids and communicable diseases.
Physical Demands include ability to lift up to 20 pounds; moving, lifting or transferring of Elders may involve lifting up to 50 pounds, as well as assist with weights of more than 100 pounds; ability to stand for long periods of time.
