Requirements for Employment
Experience in boiler operation, refrigeration, air-conditioning, plumbing, electrical and commercial equipment preferred
Ability to read and interpret pressure and temperature gauges preferred
Experience in basic maintenance and support systems of a facility required
Supervisory experience preferred
Must be able to work 1pm-9:30pm and some weekends
Provide proof of a High School Diploma or GED
Pass a Criminal Background Check, Pre-employment Physical and Drug Screen
Job Summary
Responsible for assisting with directing the day to day operations of the Facility’s Maintenance department. Follow routine for preventative maintenance on moveable and stationary equipment, monitor maintenance supplies, records and reports. Exercise good judgement instructing and organizing work and setting priorities. Attend weekly staff meetings and any other meetings as assigned. Communicate activities on a regular basis to the Plant Manager and notify them of problems or unusual occurrences. Demonstrate awareness of and adherence to safety and legal issues established at the Facility; Demonstrate sense of accountability and responsibility; Demonstrate awareness of self-learning needs and seek ways to meet these needs in order to maintain competency. Maintain a cohesive environment within the department conducive to staff cooperation and growth. Maintain positive relationships with co-workers, elders, visitors, volunteers, and regulators.
Physical Demands include ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally; ability to continuously walk or stand; ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently.
