Project Manager Job Description
The project manager plans, budgets, oversees and documents all aspects of the project. Project managers may work closely with external and internal upper management to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, within budget, and within scope and to ensure there are no surprises.
§ Follow standard progress reporting across all impacted areas to create clear visibility of all projects to senior management.
§ Oversight of the integration of tools and templates to create a streamlined approach to project management.
§ Leverage portfolio management processes and governance to ensure consistent approach to all projects
§ Ensure that projects are tracked and measured both by milestone completion
§ Assist with educating and evangelizing project management methodology throughout the organization.

Additional Qualifications (Required):
BS – Computer Science or similar
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or similar
5+ years IT Programming/Development experience
Additional Qualifications (Preferred):
MS – IT Project Management
