Description                    
Review, update and supply batch run schedules for the Computer Operators and Quality Control areas.  Assist with quality control and data entry as needs arise and time permits.  Define and maintain report definitions in the Mobius online report system.  Assist other departments with requests as needed.

Responsibilities
Provide systems scheduling on-call support after normal work hours as required.
Monitor job scheduling system and make adjustments as required.              
Add new jobs to job scheduler as needed
Communicate all scheduling changes to Computer Operators verbally and written.
Assist with report distribution as needed
Answer telephone calls to assist computer users encountering problems
Assist with Data Entry as needed
Assist Programmers and support personnel as needed
Be familiar with tape/disk management maintenance requirements
Assist with training of Data Center staff
Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems
Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to job
Providing information to supervisor, co-workers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person

Education and Experience
Minimum

High School diploma
2 or 4 year degree preferred in IT.
5 year’s operating experience in a large Data Center
Familiar with aspects of  eVSE operating system or equivalent
Familiar with a variety of Data Center hardware, including printers, tape and disk drives, servers, etc.
Familiar with IT Operations software, including scheduling, tape/disk management, FTP, etc.
Ability to work in team environment and independently

Desired
Training specific to Computer Operations; for instance, technical school, military, etc.
Training and experience with maintaining job schedules in a medium to large IT installation.
Training and experience with other IT Operations specific software
