Job Title:   Individual Giving Coordinator

Brief Summary of the Organization and the Position:
Individual Giving Coordinator manages donor relations and systems coordination for CRS and affiliate fundraising.  The Manager supports donor recruitment, development, cultivation and solicitation of donors via multi channels (direct mail and online) with an emphasis on cultivation and stewardship of mid-level ($200-1000) donors and soliciting for and advancing the major giving program of CRS projects ($1000+).  The Individual Giving Manager utilizes direct mail, social media and online giving platforms to support the acquisition, engagement and solicitation of donors.   The Manager monitors performance, program areas of interest, and works to ensure consistency in messaging and voice across all communication and fundraising platforms.  The Manager is also responsible for implementing fundraising events with the Development team.  
  • Assist the creation and implementation of the Development Plans that incorporates strategies in direct mail, annual appeals, major donors, monthly donors and planned giving
  • Mid-Level Donor Program ($200 - 999) cultivation and stewardship. 
  • Donor Response and Fulfillment (new donor welcome, holiday, birthday cards, donor queries)
  • Maintain contact for records in Constituent Relations Management Systems and responsible for export and related reporting
  • Record donations on an ongoing basis in the donor database and generate acknowledgements and thank you letters as needed. 
  • Lead Point of contact for all bank processing and related problem resolution
  • Lead Point of contact for all matching gift and online giving portals
  • Manage all contribution data processing and acknowledgement
  • CRS and Affiliate Event support
  • Managing constituent management Systems
  • Data integrity
  • Minimum two years progressively increasing development experience.
  • Excellent communication skills coupled with strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivation and initiative.  Creativity in conceptualization of fundraising campaign opportunities.
  • Some travel may be required.
