Staff Nurse - RN - Full time - First Shift (12 hour shifts x2/week, 8 hour shift x1/week)

The RN is responsible for
  • Facilitating safe nursing floor operations in accordance with federal state and local regulations and standards, ensuring that each resident receives quality care, and maintains or attains the highest practical physical, mental and psycho-social well-being
  • Ensuring resident rights, dignity, freedom of choice and individuality, and is knowledgeable of recent events which may have an impact on each resident
  • Providing leadership of campus resident care and health services programs, promoting a positive, calm and effective work environment that contributes to teamwork
  • Communicating exceptionally with team members, residents and family members and a high level of patience and compassion for others
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • RN Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 1 year experience in hospital or long term care facility preferred.
  • Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
  • Microsoft office proficiency. Electronic medical records knowledge preferred.
  • Demonstrates professional excellence and customer service focus.
  • Fluency in reading, writing and speaking the English language.
