Life Enriching Communities, an integrated family of lifestyle communities and senior living services, in Greater Cincinnati,Ohio is seeking a full-time Development Assistant (Administrative Assistant) for the LEC Foundation.
Are you technology savvy with an open and approachable demeanor? Do you have excellent customer service and organizational skills? The Administrative Assistant performs routine and specialized administrative duties using exceptional oral and written communication skills. The Administrative Assistant supports the Foundation team, whose members are at multiple locations throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintain donor database
  • Enter/update gift information
  • Produce reports
  • Prepare correspondence
  • Archive and maintain corporate documents
  • File and track departmental information
  • Coordinate special mailings and help to create and process promotional materials, informational brochures, packets and appeal letters
  • Assist, coordinate, plan and attend special event functions:
    • Schedule event dates
    • Locate appropriate venues
    • Arrange catering
    • Make deposits and payments
  • Seek out new and creative methods and principles to approach work
  • Attend and participate in workshops, seminars and in-service training programs to keep abreast of current changes in Senior Living, as well as to maintain a professional status
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of administrative assistant work
  • Must possess a customer service background and orientation
  • Microsoft office proficiency, including Outlook and Publisher
  • Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge and Crescendo or similar fundraising software
Additional Skills

  • Familiarity with social media
  • Basic math skills
