Hampton Inn Boston-Norwood is located within the Norwood Country Club’s 18 hole golf course and driving range. We’re located just 5 miles from Rodman Arena and 17 miles from downtown Boston. Sports fans will appreciate that we’re only 7 miles from Gillette Stadium and 12 miles from Fenway Park. There are plenty of travel options nearby, including the MBTA Commuter Rail/Amtrak Stations. The Hampton Inn Boston-Norwood features 2,896 sq. ft. of meeting space including our spacious Reception Room and two smaller meeting rooms with modern amenities and A/V equipment available to rent.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Posting room charges and taxes to guest accounts.  Transferring charges and deposits to master accounts as needed.  Ensuring all charges are assigned to the correct departments.
  • Verifying account postings and balances.  Tracking room revenues, occupancy and other front office metrics.  Preparing revenue and other business summaries for management.
  • Monitoring coupons, discounts and other promotional programs.
  • Functioning as a Front Desk Agent, specifically regarding check-in and out procedures and wake-up calls.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of emergency procedures and being prepared to respond to any emergency situations which may arise overnight.
  • Functioning as the manager on duty for the hotel overnight.
Qualifications include:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and minimum of one year of related hotel front desk supervisory or night audit experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English at a level sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position.
