Assists guests by transporting baggage to and from the lobby to maximize guest satisfaction. Drive hotel shuttle to and from the airport, shopping mall and other guest requested locations.
  • To transport hotel guests to and from the airport on request making sure that all traffic laws and forms of courtesy are obeyed.
  • Make sure that the vans are clean and in top running condition at all times and to report to management when repairs are needed.
  • Keeps front entrance clean.
  • If requested, escorts the guest to their room and deliver arriving baggage and remove departing baggage promptly.
  • Works closely with the front office in carrying out guest’s requests.
  • Observe any unusual person or activities and reports them to the Manager on Duty.
  • May accept dry cleaning from guest and secure for pick-up by the dry-cleaning company.
  • Provide guest with local directions in a courteous and accurate manner.
  • Responsible for emptying ashtrays of the main entrance of hotel during the shift.
  • Use all safety equipment
  • Follow all safety procedures
  • Perform all other tasks as assigned by management
  • When driving a company vehicle, one must wear a seatbelt at all times.
  • Obey all traffic laws.
  • When getting in or out of the van, remember to look for traffic before opening the door.
  • Pedestrians have the right of way.
  • Do not verbalize guest room numbers.
  • Ask passengers to return their room keys to you if they have not already done so.
  • Do not provide anybody with guest information.
  • Tightly secure all van doors before moving vehicle.
  • Do not leave keys in the van at any time, or leave it running in front of the hotel or at the airport.
  • Report all accidents immediately to management
  • Must have driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass DMV/background Check
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience as a hotel shuttle driver or similar
  • Work environment- sitting, standing, and continuous walking
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to work weekdays, weekends and Holidays
