Arbor Lodging Management is searching for an entrepreneurial National Sales Manager to fill the newly created role working in tandem with their corporate team. Reporting to the Corporate Director of Sales, this role will function in a leadership and development role for the current Director of Sales in Arbor Lodging's 22 properties across the United States. With six properties added to Arbor Lodging's portfolio in 2019, we are looking forward to a banner 2020, with our goals set on expanding and growing even further.
 
National Sales Manager
  • Remain aware of the flux and changes within each market in designated area through regular communication with sales teams at the property level. 
  • Work with property sales teams to create and implement outreach to the local market through the use of social media outlets and local area interaction. 
  • Assist red zone properties in strategy and planning to increase revenue through new venues and markets. 
  • Work with the sales team in the assigned area to achieve booking goals, and to influence business development. 
  • Submit weekly reports to corporate on production, sales activity, and key accomplishments.
  • Responsible for developing account relationships that benefit multiple hotels within the assigned Arbor Lodging portfolio and identifying cross-sell opportunities.
  • Create, roll-out and manage a program for sales managers and hotel team to be incentivized for referring business.
  • Report to Senior Vice-President of Operations bi-weekly to discuss sales production and issues/concerns with property level sales.
  • When necessary, partner with HR and Talent Acquisition to write and post job orders to relevant outlets, be involved in the screening and interview process, and function as a key decision maker on bringing in new Sales Team members.
  • Prepare onboarding and training schedules for all new Directors of Sales within their area. 
  • Conduct Sales-specific training as it relates to processes, systems, best practices, soliciting, goals, etc.
  • Travel to properties for review and training of sales plans with hotel sales teams. (40% Travel)
  • All job responsibilities are subject to change at any time, with the approval of the CEO and VP of HR.
  • An incentive program will be created based on the achievement of the above goals.
The right candidate for this role will have:
  • A strong multi-brand sales background with 5+ years of relevant experience. 
  • The ability to research and deliver market knowledge to their team. 
  • The ability to communicate well with a widespread team while building trusting relationships
  •  Travel 50%+ of the year
