Position Summary
 
This position is responsible for creatively managing social media accounts and website content for Christian Community Health Center (CCHC) that heightens awareness and promote its programs, services, and events.  The specialist works collaboratively with multidisciplinary staff to execute CCHC’s marketing strategy.
 
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create and monitor multiple social media channels, internal marketing methods, and website content that heightens awareness and promotes CCHC among targeted markets
  • Create engaging content to share on program and health features, news stories, newsletter content, and agency events like the annual Health and Fun Fair
  • Develop and manage, as relevant, videos on YouTube, uploading videos and adding SEO-friendly titles and descriptions and closed-captioning
  • Monitor and respond to inbound social messages during the workday and after hours, as needed
  • Track engagement metrics and report them regularly
  • Work efficiently and effectively with a diverse group of clients to solicit engaging content for promotion materials
  • Assist with program specific social media projects, as requested
  • Attend and cover events after normal business hours and on weekends, as needed
Minimal Qualifications/Experience/Skills
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Two years of demonstrated success in managing social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube required
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills required; familiarity with Associated Press style a plus
  • Experience working collaboratively with other professionals to complete projects in a timely manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; must be comfortable working with people at all levels of the organization
  • Photography and video editing skills a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of multi-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in English or journalism preferred
