Job Summary:
The primary function of the CNA is to greet, room, and complete vitals for the patients prior to the Provider visit. This position may also serve as back-up to the front desk staff as needed to check in/check out patients and make future appointments. 

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
  • Prepares physical set-up of rooms/clinic ; clean/sterilization of room/equipment after visit ,  restocks/straightens medical supplies.
  • Greet and room patients
  • Responsible for making a positive first impression for the medical team
  • Measure and records the following patient vital signs including but not limited to: height/weight, temperature, pulse, respiration rate, blood pressure and head circumference in babies
  • Check refrigerator temperature daily
  • Provide wound care: cleaning wound and changing dressing
  • Document in EHR/I-CARE
  • Provide patient with patient education and materials
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures set by management
  • Weekly inventory of medical, lab, office supplies and equipment
  • Provide optimal quality customer service and provide feedback to management regarding the level of customer satisfaction
Minimal Qualifications, Experience & Skills
  • This is a full time position; $13.00/hr 
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Successfully completed an Illinois approved CNA training program
  • Active CNA certification in IL; primary source verification will be conducted via the  Illinois Department of Public Health; ; renew certifications every two years
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification prior to hire/start
  • Must be professional, have a friendly demeanor and able to carry out assigned tasks
  • Must be professional and display excellent customer service skills
  • One Saturday per month required 
  • This position requires credentialing and privileging with our agency
