Under the direction of the Store Manager, plan, schedule, assign, and supervisor the work of electrical crews engaged in the construction and maintenance of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems; provide technical assistance and training to crews and related work as assigned. Supervise electrical crew, delegate work assignments, manage daily paperwork including field tickets, time-sheets and Job-site Safety Analyses, develop subordinate’s skills and plan layouts.
Supervise the operational and administrative activities of line, oilfield electrical, and automation. Duties include multiple job supervision as both Superintendent and Foreman. Must be able to plan small to medium sized jobs from start to finish. The Electrical Supervisor reports to the Branch Manager.
The Electrical Supervisor must be able to Estimate and Bid oil field related electrical work.
The successful candidate must possess a valid Texas or New Mexico Journeyman’s License or a Texas or New Mexico Masters License.
•Pass the Company’s Drug Screen.
•Qualify to be a company approved driver.
•Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
•A working knowledge of pole line electrical, oilfield electrical, and oilfield automation •Ability to communicate and negotiate with individual customers.
•Must coordinate craft and safety training
•Perform personnel activities including hiring and supervision, force reduction, promotions and demotions.
•Knowledge of industry regulatory accident prevention/loss control compliance requirements.
