To ensure that banquet services are provided to guests in a most professional and efficient manner and to ensure proper dining room sequence of service is followed menu items and beverage service.
 
Responsibilities:
1. To ensure that all the requirements for each assigned function are provided in a professional and timely manner.
2. To Pre-Bus and assist in the cleaning serving and resetting of tables
3. Ensure all chairs, floors, and work areas are presentable.
4. Complies with all health department regulations on a day to day basis.
5. Greets Guests in a professional and friendly manner...
6. Full knowledge on how to make all basis drinks so that guests are serviced in the most efficient manner.
7. Make sure banquet room is set when not in use for perspective bookings.
8. To ensure that all P & P and checklist are being implemented and executed on a day-to-day basis For banquets
9. Keep all Banquet areas clean and organized including both front and back-of-the-house areas.
10. Ensure that you are in a clean proper uniform with your respective name badge...
11. Ensure that a check is issued for every Banquet and signed for by the authorized contact person for the group / function.
12. Always be attentive and responsive to the guest needs.
13. Anticipate the guest requirements before, during and after each function.
14. Ensure that the banquet room is kept free from all debris at all times.
15. To ensure that the department has adequate supplies to meet the operational needs...
16. Assist as required in inducting, orient and training of assigned personnel to meet
their departmental responsibilities.
17. Operate in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and government
regulations.
18. Maintain and ensure a high level of professionalism throughout the department
and staff...
19. Expedite special projects as requested within the timeframe required.
20. Communicate effectively with all departments...
21. Participate, train and develop staff on all property emergency procedures that
protect both our guests and employees on a day to day basis.
22. Maintain a safe and secure environment at all times for both the employees and
guests.
 
Job Requirements:
1. Previous banquet experience (1-2 years minimum).
2. Well rounded knowledge in banquet department.
3. Product knowledge.
4. Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
