The Guest Room Attendant ensures the levels of cleanliness meet or exceed a 4 star / 4 diamond standard on a daily basis by following the Resorts unit cleaning check list, that act as a guideline for our standards of cleanliness.
 
Responsibilities:           
  • Clean all units assigned and ensure they are in accordance with the level of quality expected for the resort in accordance to the ABC’s of Housekeeping and outlined in our in house training titled ABC’s of Housekeeping.
  • Maintain passing ABC Visitation Scores.
  • Smile and greet all guests and co-workers.
  • Pick up all debris throughout property as sighted.
  • Report any problems of quality to the Supervisor or Manager by contacting the dispatch coordinator.
  • Assist in Maintaining safe working conditions and practices. 
  • Ensure that you maintain a professional appearance and that the proper uniform and nametag is worn at all times.
  • Maintain effective communication with all co-workers and supervisors.
  • Communicate clearly and always display a positive attitude.
  • Operate in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and government regulations.
  • Maintain and ensure a high level of professionalism throughout the department.
  • Ensure all assets and supplies for the department are kept secure and in storage at all times.
  • Be familiar with all emergency and fire procedures.
  • Report to Security any suspicious activity.
  • Follow key sign in and sign out procedures.
  • Familiarize self with the property Housekeeping policies and procedures.
  • Offer assistance to guest using their first name whenever possible.
  • Demonstrate proper use of all equipment and supplies at all times.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas at all times (i.e. room attendant carts, linen and supply closets).
  • Attend and participate in required meetings.
  • Ensure all Maintenance deficiencies are reported promptly, including, but not limited to repairs, replacements or damages caused by guests.
  • Adhere to work scheduled work hours and attendance policies and procedures.
  • Participate in daily meeting with the Executive Housekeeper to retrieve daily updates etc.
  • Be familiar with the proper placement of furniture and amenities of the rooms.
  • Carry out any reasonable request by management of which the associate is capable of performing.
  • Operate within compliance of all local, state and federal laws and government regulations.
  • Maintain positive employee relations in a supportive environment.
  • Expedite special projects as requested within the time frame required.
Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic English language requirements.
  • Prior Housekeeping experience is preferred.
  • Good organizational skills and must be able to handle multiple tasks
  • Able to work on your feet for long periods of time
