A successful Director of Revenue Management will:
  • Analyze sales data and market share to forecast and make recommendations.
  • Assist in setting monthly and annual financial goals.
  • Communicate revenue cycle issues and strategies throughout the organization.
  • Oversee regulatory and scheduling aspects of collections, credit cards and claims management.
  • Identify strategies to increase customer base and revenues.
  • Work closely with the each of the department heads to identify, develop, and introduce new and enhanced processes and techniques to optimizing profitability
  • Drive the annual revenue and booking margin revenue Budget
  • Drive the short-term revenue and margin forecasting models and capabilities
  • Drive revenue/profit gains via analytically derived recommendations for margin and mark-up variations, promotional constructs, ancillary pricing, etc.
  • Analyze profitability under different volume, price, product, channel, and partnership strategies.
  • Drive the scoping, selection, introduction and adoption of revenue management decision support systems
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support as necessary to other executive team members
  • Manage relevant external consultants and providers as necessary
  • 5-8 years’ working experience in Revenue Management in the hotel industry
  • 5-8 years’ experience working at hotel and/or resort of 400 plus rooms – Only candidates that have this qualification will be considered
  • Excellent strategic and analytical skills
  • Strong influencing and leadership skills
  • An understanding of hospitality industry competitive and market dynamics
  • Proven ability to lead with the highest standards of performance and integrity, demonstrating PHM’s commitment to the highest standards of ethics and integrity in business
