Paramount Hospitality Management is seeking a Director of Sales & Catering to lead the Sales and Catering efforts for Avanti International Resort  in the heart of Orlando’s tourist corridor. The ideal candidate is someone who is locally established and is confident in their ability to build steady and consistent flow of group and catering business from all market segments.  The successful candidate will have a strong network of affiliations and an aggressive and innovative approach to building sales.

  • Responsible for sales for a 652 room Full Service Resort and Conference Center, with approximately 3,000 square feet of functional meeting/banquet space.
  • Proven track record in the Orlando marketplace for developing business that yields Gross Revenue per Available room in all group market segments.
  • Builds relationships and attends events and Trade Shows with the primary goal of generating new business
  • Soliciting new accounts, entertaining and maintaining relationships with existing accounts.
  • Travel required attending special events and trade shows that will yield group bookings, to meet with or call upon individual corporate, social and convention clients by telephone or site visits.
  •  Create, articulate, negotiate, and secure contracts defining business. Organize all other arrangements as they relate to business for the hotel and conference center
  • Accountable for not only producing group room nights but for ensuring the constant maximization of occupancy and A.D.R. that equates to maximized Gross REV PAR to meet or exceed budget.
  • Ability to manage, motivate and guide the department to meet and exceed budgeted guidelines.
  • Assist in the success of marketing the resort, always exuding the highest example of professionalism and hospitality to all existing and potential clients, guest and associates.
  • Must possess minimum 5-7 years hotel sales, catering & marketing leadership at the Director level.
  • Must display strong communication skills both oral and written.
  • Must possess a strong commitment to guest service and, ability to analyze market segment & conditions and develop marketing strategies.
  • Proven leadership skills, computer literate and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.          
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
