The Groundsperson is to complete all assignments in a professional and timely manner, while ensuring that all guests request are a priority to be accomplished in the timeliest manner.
 
Responsibilities:           
  • To complete all work assignment request in a professional and timely manner.
  • To always display a positive attitude towards both guests and co-workers.
  • Smile and greet all guests and co-workers whenever you come in contact with them.
  •  Always have the proper tools on-hand when making repairs and maintain all safety precautions when performing any work assignments.
  • Must be able to work on ladder and with various heights.
  • Maintain the property to always look professional and free from any deficiencies including but not limited to grounds; physical appearance of all assets kept crisp and up-to-date and all grounds and vehicles.
  • To maintain the physical assets in an effort to meet our standards of operations and to ensue the longevity of the asset and mechanical of the property.
  • To always be in the proper clean uniform and name tag at all times.
  • To ensure that all grounds are properly attended to and are kept in a clean and well groomed manner.
  • To assist to ensure the level of quality with respect to the structures physical and operational requirements.
  • Always exemplify the importance of safety to prevent on the job injuries and guests incidents.
  • Abide by the posted employee schedule as it pertains to your schedule and follow the employee handbook on any special request or deviations.
  • Operate in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and government regulations.
  • Follow and maintain all MSDS standards within the department as required.
  • Store and maintain all chemicals and other hazardous materials in safe and proper storage units as required.
  • Maintain and ensure a high level of professionalism throughout the department and staff.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism when conducting radio communications within the property.
  • Expedite special projects as requested within the time-frame required.
  • Routinely check public facilities to ensure the effectiveness of our preventative maintenance program.
  • Communicate effectively with all departments.
  • Participate on all property emergency procedures that protect both our guests and employees on a day to day basis.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment at all times for both the employees and guests.
Job Requirements:
  • Previous property/resort management experience (1-2 years minimum)
  • Must know how to swim.
  • The ability to stand, squat, reach walk and lift for periods at a time.
  • 10.50 per hour
