Yardi Help Desk Support Specialist for Multi-Family Housing

Woda Cooper Companies, Inc. and its affiliates are a rapidly growing, vertically integrated development, construction, and property management organization headquartered in Columbus, Ohio.  The organization specializes in providing quality affordable housing throughout the Midwest and Central Atlantic regions.  Woda Management & Real Estate, LLC (“WM&RE”), the property management organization, currently manages over 10,000 housing units in over 300 housing communities.  The management company has a concentration specifically on communities funded via the LIHTC program, Rural Development, and HUD Section 8, and other affordable programs. WM&RE has implemented Yardi Voyager software throughout its portfolio.
The Position:
The Yardi Help Desk Support Specialist will assist our software users with technical support;
troubleshooting and analyzing issues and finding solutions.
What is Needed:
  • Ability to communicate professionally by phone and email, and provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to cultivate positive working relationships with customers and coworkers
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage a Help Desk ticket queue
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience diagnosing problems with software products
  • Experience working in Affordable Housing property management, accounting, and compliance (highly preferred)
  • Experience working with Yardi modules, or other property management software (required)
  • Experience working with support ticketing software (highly preferred)
  • Experience working with Teamviewer or other remote access software
  • Advanced knowledge of Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and using web-based applications
In this role you will:
Within the limits of corporate policies, approved budgets, owner’s goals and in line with Woda Cooper Companies Inc. management philosophy, the incumbent has the responsibility and commensurate authority to accomplish the following duties:
  • Manage Help Desk ticket queue to prioritize requests and provide support in a timely manner
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Develop an extensive knowledge of Yardi software modules, and continue education by attending trainings and conferences
  • Properly escalate and communicate unresolved issues with supervisor and Yardi Account Manager
  • Assist supervisor with special projects
