Do you want to help make a difference in the lives of individuals in our community by connecting them to employment? The Job Developer with our CCMEP program establishes and maintains activities to develop, locate and secure job openings for individuals served in the program by contacting employers to establish leads, market the program, and coordinate the job resource bank. Additionally, this position will research and maintain current job listings and develops resources for individuals served to identify current job openings related to their identified career goal. This position will take the lead on planning marketing and outreach services to bring awareness to employers, serving as an advocate and liaison for individuals to utilizing employer incentives designed to help applicants on public assistance. The Job Developer will collaborate with other staff members to assist individuals achieve employment, and identify solutions to employment barriers. This position ensures that required program data is properly maintained and reported, and keeps accurate records by completing and maintaining required documentation.. Additionally, the Job Developer gathers, analyzes, and maintains data and statistical information to evaluate effectiveness of services and identifies goals for individuals served and program needs. 

Minimum Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field, or 2 years college and 2 years human services experience working with inner city populations.
  • Knowledge of: case management; public assistance rules, computer software programs and applications; statistics; report writing.
  • Ability to: exhibit flexibility in work schedule and job tasks; develop and maintain effective working relationships with associates; maintain and promote good public relations; maintain confidentiality of sensitive subject matter; to have attention to detail; to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work; adapt quickly to changing environments; apply public assistance rules to work participation requirements.
  • Skill in: verbal and written communication skills; organizational skills; planning scheduling and organizing work
  • Valid Driver License with current auto insurance, as well as a good driving record
