Summary: 
 
Infinity Technology, LLC, a nationally recognized information technology and professional services company, is currently seeking an Accounting Technician to work at our client site.   
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
Accounts Payable: Examine process and prepare vouchers to pay invoices and/or billings received from commercial vendors and other government agencies. The contractor shall perform these functions promptly to ensure the timely and accurate processing of official financial documents and contractor invoices. 
Travel Entitlements: The contractor shall examine, process and compute payment of individual claims for reimbursement of authorized expenses about Permanent Change of Station (PCS) and Temporary Duty (TDY) travel personnel, both civilian and military.  Assist in managing the Agency travel charge card program. 
Payroll: The contractor shall maintain the official pay and leave records and processing biweekly payroll for civilian personnel assigned to specified agencies, and throughout the Intelligence Community. This includes processing and computing various allowances (including foreign allowances), pay differentials (i.e. Foreign Language Incentive Pay (FLIP). 
Accounts Receivable: Support accounts receivable activities with the accounts payable, travel entitlements, and payroll activities:
  • Examine, process and prepare vouchers to pay invoices/bills from commercial vendors and government agencies. 
  • Update contract files ensuring financial data in the accounting system and obligation documents. 
  • Proficiency in establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information. 
  • Proficiency in establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting financial information. 
  • Shall have experience managing a staff or have provided overall direction and leadership for financial accounting cost team. 
  • Shall read, and apply basic regulations applicable to accounts payable, travel and entitlements and payroll. (I.e. Prompt pay regulations, Joint Travel regulations (JTR) and Financial Management regulations. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications of Work and Excel, and basic NT type computer skills
Qualifications: 
Must have an Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
 
Education/Experience:  
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years financial accounting experience.
