Marketing Manager, SEO & SEM
NewPoint Media Group (owner of Homes & Land Magazine, The Real Estate Book and New Home Guide) is seeking a data-driven Marketing Manager for the consumer side (B2C) of our integrated marketing services business. Our group of iconic brands has been helping consumers (home buyers and sellers who read our hyper-local magazines and nationwide digital content) for over 45 years. Our customers are real estate agents and brokers looking for effective marketing solutions to help increase sales and build brand awareness.
Reporting to the VP of Marketing (no direct reports), you’ll be responsible for creating, testing and implementing various SEO & SEM strategies that drive traffic to our branded websites while increasing overall readership of our iconic magazines. Our consumers are prospective home buyers and sellers nationwide. You’ll also be responsible for increasing consumer mindshare through effective branding initiatives.
Your toolbox will include a vast array of solutions to help build campaigns across search, display, mobile, video, etc. for all of NewPoint Media’s brands. You will collaborate with Product, Data and Sales Leadership to ensure delivery of an excellent consumer experience, same with other marketing functions such as B2B, Social Media, and Analytics. You will own SEO, SEM, as well as content creation and distribution for both digital and offline collateral.
SEO and website optimization are “priority one” this year. Your first mission will be to increase the number of “eyeballs” visiting our websites. An increase in sessions and unique users is essential to increasing lead generation, our ultimate goal. In addition, you’ll be tasked with scaling our iconic brand to new heights. Once we have a strong SEO plan in place. you’ll be splitting your time between offline and digital marketing. You’ll be creating various marketing programs to enhance the consumer experience. For offline, you’re helping our publishers create an amazing magazine that’s “coffee table worthy”, a product that’s chock full of hyper-local, interesting content.

What your day will look like-
  • An expert in search engine optimization with a history of creating exceptional consumer experiences
  • Ability to collaborate with sales leadership, product and other marketing partners to develop a deep understanding of how to contribute to our company’s success
  • Provide cross-channel analysis and tactical recommendations
  • Build our brand and increase our user base through paid and organic strategies
  • Create high ROI lead and demand generating initiatives for the benefit of our real estate agent customer base
  • Implement strategic testing roadmaps to ensure successful campaigns

What you'll need to succeed-
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in a Marketing Manager role (media industry or real estate marketing experience is preferred, not required)
  • Strong experience in launching on page and off page SEO, SEM, and retargeting strategies 
  • Strong, working knowledge of SEO tools like Moz Pro or SEMRush
  • Offline Advertising (TV, Radio, Print) experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Marketing Automation software (Pardot, Marketo, SFDC Marketing Cloud)
  • Ability to analyze data and create insights from Google Analytics, Search Console, Ad Manager
  • Used email automation tools such as Mail Chimp or Constant Contact
  • Ability to develop and implement marketing plans while monitoring results and implementing continuous improvement methodologies
  • Willing to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision making across all levels of the organization
  • Stay in tune with all relevant, emerging technology trends and platforms within our realm and take action when needed
  • Working knowledge of available AI technologies that include predictive & adaptive analytics and Chatbots highly preferred
  • Knowledge of MLS data feeds, Listhub and broker API’s would be preferred but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing or related field preferred)
