DESCRIPTION
To administer care in client's home by performing the following duties:
  • Administer care to clients in accordance with care plans.
  • Document records in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Record and report any changes in symptoms, reactions or responses by clients to Supervisor in an accurate manner.
  • Perform personal hygiene responsibilities for clients to include bathing and grooming.
  • Ensure client environment is neat and orderly to include performing light housekeeping responsibilities and maintaining laundry.
  • Implement and accurately document procedures and treatments according to policy.
  • Prepare client's meals as indicated. Assist or feed clients as necessary in an unhurried and pleasant manner.
  • Organize assignments, and complete in a timely manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information at all times.
  • Attend all in-service educational programs as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
 
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Certifications/Licenses:
Certificate of completion from certified Home Health Aide course.
