Receiving Clerk
Responsible for supporting receiving, purchasing, and accounting activities at the STRATACACHE, Trotwood location. Responsible for record-keeping. No remote work capability.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Receives, inspects, verifies, processes and routes all materials into the facility and off-site facilities (remote sites) and enter the receipts in the ERP system.
  • Notifies the Purchasing and Receiving Manager of any discrepancies of materials versus shippers’ documentation.
  • Prepares shipments, including documentation, for outbound shipments for RMAs.
  • Manage the Returned Material process according to the Returned Goods SOP (Standard Operating Procedure.)
  • Arranges or delivers stock to the appropriate staging area for departments.
  • Contacts material handlers to put items in the designated storage areas and rotates stock according to receipt date and expiration dates to ensure proper stock rotation and use prior to expiration.
  • Perform other duties as requested

Basic Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience in similar role
  • 2-3 years in Shipping/Receiving Manufacturing environment
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Good record-keeping skills and ability to operate a computer, printer, and bar code scanner.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to operate materials handling equipment as needed (fork lift, pallet jack, etc)
