Reception Administrator

As the face and first contact of the company, the Reception Administrator is responsible for performing a variety of customer service focused duties to facilitate a positive experience for our employees, visitors and callers alike.  As the first- and last-person that people interact with, this important position plays an essential role in setting the tone for our organization. The Reception Administrator must possess strong customer service and communication skills, be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in an organized and detail-oriented manner. The ideal candidate is a reliable self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as the face of the company when greeting customers, creating an excellent experience for visitors and employees and being of service in a positive, proactive manner at all times
  • Supporting daily office operations which can include office supply invoicing & ordering activities, general reporting, data entry and administrative support activities
  • Point-of-contact for the main telephone system to answer incoming calls, determine needs of callers, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
 
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma Required
  • A minimum 2 years of experience in a professional work environment in a support role (receptionist, customer service, executive assistant, etc.)
  • Exceptional professionalism and is flexible and not easily flustered
  • Has a positive work ethic and adheres to standards of business conduct and compliance
  • Ability to work in a fast paced innovative environment
  • The ability to prioritize workload, identify solutions, and self-manage
  • Exceptional oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
