QA Analyst/Test Automation Specialist
Working in the QA team within the engineering group, you will be responsible for implementing and executing the agreed upon QA process for the X2O visual communications platform/product, and more specifically for maintaining and expanding our test automation framework and test scripts.

Core Responsiblities:
  • Contribute to improvements in quality for our core product.
  • Expand on our existing test automation framework and test scripts
  • Perform manual and automated regression testing of products.
  • Develop test strategies to ensure quality and on-time delivery of builds to production
  • Provide engineering support to support group for troubleshooting in-field customer problems
  • Follow industry standard application testing techniques and practices.
  • Participate in development meetings and provide status reports.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science would be an asset
  • Minimum 3 years product oriented software testing experience
  • Experience with test automation using Javascript, Python, Selenium Webdriver, Appium, or similar tools
  • Experience in an agile development environment
  • Experience with client/server and Web 2.0 testing 
  • Experience with web/mobile application testing would be an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast pace and dynamic environment
  • Testing commercial-grade enterprise software applications or products in the last 2 years
  • Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills required
  • Demonstrate extreme attention to detail and organization in all aspects of work
  • Testing commercial-grade enterprise software applications or products in the last 2 years
  • In-depth understanding of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) concepts and design requirements
  • High-volume transactional server applications using Microsoft .NET technologies
  • Highly scalable server architectures, including load-balancing, redundancy, and failure reporting mechanisms
