Jr Systems Engineer

Applicants need to be able to show significant, relevant systems engineering software and network appliance products. A favorable candidate must be capable of both highly technical interaction and polished product sales support. This position requires a refined, highly motivated and personable individual capable of working professionally, efficiently and productively in a rapidly growing company in rapidly growing market segments.


Core Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate periodically with hardware teams, warehouse personnel, and other entities involved in hardware procurement, staging, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery for customer projects including demo and presales efforts, and the maintenance of sufficient inventory for short-term needs
  • Design customized digital signage solutions to meet customer requirements, , brainstorming to solve customer and market needs, monitor and manage active client devices, and provide engineering-level support for digital signage devices, networks, and operations.
  • Field sales support, sales technical interface for pre-sales opportunities.
  • Major account technical support, integration and upgrade assistance. Interact with support and development teams for product enhancements and bug fixes. Provide significant contributions to product and software documentation in collaboration with Product Management, Development, and Marketing.
  • Assist in project troubleshooting and designing implementation tests. Test hardware and software solutions, submitting tickets for issues found, collaborating with various teams, and validating fixes.
  • Perform other duties as requested


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g. Computer Engineering, Computer Science, etc) desired, equivalent experience considered.
  • 2 years professional technical experience engineering, deploying, and supporting enterprise technology solutions at scale, or some combination thereof.
  • SIGNIFICANT knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
  • SIGNIFICANT knowledge and experience with WAN/LAN networks
  • Ability to work in a team environment and design/implement solutions
  • Moderate coding competency and understanding of the software development process.
  • Ability to communicate and interface with customers in a professional manner
 
Schedule: Full-Time
Shift: Standard Business Hours
Travel: 25% - 49%
Remote Work Capability: Partial
