Contracts Specialist
This incumbent will be professional, highly-productive, and responsive to the needs of internal and external clients. They will work with our General Counsel to ensure contractual agreements align and meet business goals, acceptable risk tolerances and corporate policies.  They need to be meticulously organized and detail-oriented, open to learning new and complex concepts and successful with building key relationships with individuals within and outside of the organization.  This role will include close alignment with various sales teams and internal operations teams throughout the Stratacache organization.  Additional responsibilities may include management of contract templates and contract management system, and project assistance as needed.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Under direction of the General Counsel, review and edit contracts, including non-disclosure, customer and vendor agreements. Provide initial legal response on contracts, and provide front-line support working with stakeholders to ensure all required terms are included and finalized.
  • Assist in the preparation and updating of company form agreements and other transactional documents.
  • Assist in negotiating contracts with outside parties as directed by the General Counsel
  • Research laws, rulings and regulations applicable to the company’s business worldwide to support the legal department’s overall compliance responsibility.
  • Assist in contract interpretation and the handling of customer/vendor inquiries and informal resolution of contract disputes
  • Assist in the development and management of a contract administration process for executed contracts to help ensure that milestones and other requirements are met.
  • Train stakeholders, explain concepts and answer commonly asked questions
  • Point-of-contact for inquiries regarding corporate policies, requirements and status on active contracts
  • Assist with other legal  work as needed including interfacing with and assisting in the management of, the work of outside counsel around the world
Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Paralegal certification preferred.  JD degree a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with full life cycle contracts review & administration experience in a professional business environment.
  • Experience working in the software and/or information technology industry(s) required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, judgment and the ability succeed in a growing, fluid environment
  • Ability to multi-task, organize and drive results within defined time frames
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Develop close working relationship with key internal groups such as Sales, Operations, and Finance teams.
