Buyer

This incumbent will be responsible for processing purchasing requisitions from the Managers in the field and turn those requisitions into purchase orders. 


Core Responsibilties:
  • Assisting the inventory management team ensuring that all deliveries satisfy assignmed purchase orders as well as report any back-ordered or missing products.
  • To be able to operate an efficient and accurate system for monitoring all open purchase orders. 
  • Deliver a weekly purchase  order report to management that indicates the vendor invoice number for all closed purchase orders.
  • Perform other duties as requested


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
  • 2 Years of applicable work experience
  • Must have comprehensive understanding of MS Excel, MS Word and industry standard purchase order and software Platforms (NetSuite)
  • Strong negotiating skills required
  • Must be able to thrive in a high-stress and fast-paced environment
  • Impeccable attention to detail required
  • Must have strong ability to work well within a team
