The ideal candidate for the Mitel/Voice Sales Representative role will successfully help initiate guidelines for the sales team on how best to market and sale Mitel products to our existing and new customers.

Job Duties
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the company's entire Voice and UC product suite. Develops and manages relationships with acquired and/or existing customers in order to gain strategic positioning with decision makers, attain additional business, and retain existing revenue. Develops action plans to cross-sell and up-sell accounts to increase overall total customer spend with the company.
  • Identifies, bids on, negotiates, and closes new Voice and UC sales opportunities in order to meet and exceed established sales and revenue quotas. Provides comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from new and/or existing accounts.
  • Pursue marketing generated sales leads to close new Voice and UC business. Provide presentation and demonstration support. Prioritizes multiple projects and communicates project requirements/time lines.
  • Provides input to sales management about trends and changes taking place within the customers organization, as well as makes recommendations about future courses of action necessary of the company towards improving its position with the customer.
  • Provides accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities in order to meet or exceed sales quota requirements.
  • Work in a collaborative environment with Sales Representatives, Project Coordinators, Technical Service and Installation Technicians to ensure the best product delivery possible
  • Obtain a thorough knowledge of the product and explain the service features and benefits as the provider of choice
  • Understand and respond to customer needs
  • Track and monitor account activity
  • Maintain call volume of at least 40 calls/day to business leads and existing customers
  • Place cold call and warm calls to business owners to capture new business
  • Develop relationships with key decision makers
  • Work independently with limited supervision
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Exhibit sound expression, comprehension, negotiation and listening skills
  • Manage time, multiple accounts, objections, and customer needs simultaneously
  • Knowledge of the benefits of Voice, UC and Collaboration to our customers
  • Consistent over achiever
  • 3-5+ years related Sales experience in the following: -
  • Hosted Voice and UC solutions (e. g. Broadsoft, Skype for Business, Cisco)
  • Hosted Contact Centre
  • PBX background (e. g. Unify, Mitel, Avaya etc)
  • Ability to explain all the above to a non-technical audience
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to take a consultative approach to selling Voice and UC
  • Strong reporting and pipeline management etc.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
