The Accountant II role requires two to four years of experience in bookkeeping, financial analysis and reporting. Duties include but are not limited to: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Sales and Property Tax reporting and General Ledger Accounting. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail, relevant business and financial acumen and capability of working independently with limited supervision or as part of a team.   • Monthly financial reporting including month end close and bank reconciliations
  • Ensure general ledger reconciliations are up-to-date, monthly close process is performed in accordance to company guidelines and financials are compiled in accordance to GAAP.
  • Understanding of general accounting principles and functions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), QuickBooks Pro
  • Ensure Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable are reconciled to the related general ledger accounts and reconciling items are resolved in a timely manner
  • Prepare various cost/statistical reports for company executives, as needed. This may include administrative overhead expense reports, corporate budgets, capital expenditures, etc.
  • Prepare accurate cash flow forecasts
  • Experience with financial reporting, general ledger management, budgeting and forecasting
  • Ability to work closely with management team to enhance the effectiveness and profitability of the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other company employees, suppliers and customers
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business management
  • Experience with Sage AccPac, Continuum Corridor or Quantum software a plus.
