Retail Store Manager - Fleet Feet Lakeview 
 
Reporting To:       SVP Sales & Marketing
 
Fleet Feet Sports is seeking a highly capable leader who is passionate about developing their team and connecting with the community as our Store Manager. The key objective of this position is to create and develop a sales team, grow the business, and positively impact the surrounding community.
 
The role will combine retail and the running, triathlon and cycling communities into one lifestyle location that is as much club as it is retail store. The Store Manager in responsible for all aspects of the retail store operations and for the strategy and development of their people and communities. They are accountable for ensuring that all areas of the business are fulfilled and are responsible for the level of education on the sales floor that is capable of delivering the highest levels of customer service. A store manager lives the culture of Fleet Feet Sports and is the center of the community of their location and is full accountable for the success of their business.
 
  1. Raving Fan Customer Service
    1. Own the customers overall Fleet Feet Sports experience
    2. Keep entire team up to date on all Fleet Feet Sports customer service training
    3. Manage the process of delivering Net Promoter Goal at or above Company Goals
  2. Development and Supervision of the Sales Team Leaders on their team
    1. Own First 90 Day Training Calendar and Benchmarks of all Team Members
    2. Develop Team Members to achieve individual, category and store goals
    3. Manage and deliver Annual Review Processes for entire team
  3. Store Management
    1. Deliver auditable open and close as required by assigned schedule
    2. Maintain proper staffing based on traffic and forecasted needs
    3. Ensure store appearance standards are being met
    4. Work toward greater loss prevention and inventory accuracy
  4. Product Knowledge
    1. Work with Category Specialists to maintain knowledge of new lines and products
    2. Maintain and continually progress Fitlosophy certification for both shoes and sports bras
    3. Continually advance breadth of knowledge based on individual 3point5 Training Plan
  5. Store Performance
    1. Deliver performance at or above company set goals for store and specific time periods
    2. Ensure category level support to enable Sales Team Leaders to achieve individual goals
  6. In-store Event Coordination
    1. Work with Marketing to maintain event calendar
    2. Own visibility of in-store event calendar to overall staff
 
Work Schedule:
  1. During store hours, including one hour before and after open/close
  2. Retail store presence for key selling hours: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.; 5:00 p.m. - close
  3. Six weekend sales shifts per month or as needed by store demand
  4. In-store presence for all key sales days of the year
 
Requirements:
  1. Sales Associate Qualified, Assistant Manager experience a plus
  2. Certified in Fitlosophy
 
Compensation/Benefits:
  1. Health Insurance provided the start of the first month after 60 days
  2. 401k at first enrollment following 1 year anniversary
