The Content Creator produces strategic content in multiple formats for various marketing channels including website, social, and email. The Content Creator must balance left and right brain to both write compellingly for both short-form social channels and long-form publishing channels while also creating content strategies and developing and articulating clear brand voices for our clients.
Day to Day
The Content Creator will produce content specifically for clients’ owned and shared channels. Outputs include, and are not limited to:
-- 3-5 years agency or in-house experience in a content production role
-- Portfolio that demonstrates ability to write in multiple editorial voices in compelling, POV-driven way
-- Flawless grammar and a deep love of content in all its forms
-- Expertise in multiple formats including short-form social to long-form publishing. You’re a writer’s writer; you make words compelling regardless of format/channel.
-- Ability to conceptualize and bring new content ideas to our clients
-- Ability to direct designers / video editors in packaging up creative elements included in content packages (e.g., imagery, GIF, et al)
-- Expertise with online marketing strategies and marketing channels, and what type of content works best where
-- Commitment to excellence, anticipating issues and communicating with diplomacy
-- Identifying emerging platforms and trends to drive innovation
-- Multitasking and analytical skills
-- Ability to build relationships (internally and with clients)
-- Preferred experience in the following industries: CPG, Agriculture, Tourism
About the OBP Content Department
The OBP Content Department leads content + social strategy, developing sustainable content + social packages for the agency and all of its clients across owned and shared channels. Content types, channels, and frequencies will change as will the KPIs, but the overarching goal will be consistent: Create content strategies and experiences that spur engagement, increase brand sentiment, and align with the business goals of a client.
