Financial Manager

OBP is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting in financial reporting and analysis for a designated client account team, including monthly analysis of performance, special cost studies and client budget reconciliation. Normal performance measures include accuracy and timeliness of reports and the degree of innovation toward improving analysis and reporting systems, as well as the quality of financial analysis and recommendations. 
 
Responsibilities Include: 
  • Daily/weekly work assignments for accounts payable, billing and reporting in relation to client team assignment. 
  • All client financial communication with the respective client-team. 
  • All client financial reports. 
  • A/R invoices, issuance of AR reports monthly including cash-collection within client payment terms. 
  • Based on judgment, selection of weekly billing based on open jobs listed and dollar volume.  All open jobs must be included in the billing selection. 
  • Reconciling advance-bill jobs within 30 days of project completion. 
  • Client-invoice assembly, back-up and filing. 
  • Extensive spreadsheet projects. 
  • Reviews estimates for discrepancies and variances. 
  • Final job closing process and collection of required job data/information and accurate and timely storage. 
  • Interacts in all client audits. 
  • Completes special projects as needed.   
Experience Requirements:
  • BS degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of accounting and financial business administration
  • Knowledge of Internal accounting theories and practices in order to understand, relate and apply to agency practice and policy.     
  • Financial analysis to systematically explain the client team results, analyze costs to recommend profit opportunities.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Team skills necessary to work effectively with other people in accomplishing agency/team goals.
  • Traits would include quick learner, assertive, eager, and reliable.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
