Interactive Creative Director
 
We are seeking an Interactive Creative Director to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving strong, strategic interactive work for all clients. In addition to shaping the direction of a growing interactive department, you will collaborate across offices and disciplines to shape the creative strategy and execution for a variety of Interactive marketing projects.
 
Responsibilities Include:
  • Create and oversee the development of graphic user interfaces, page templates and other design elements that meet client communication objectives.
  • Manage Interactive Art Directors and Graphic Designers, providing comments, critique and QA.
  • Work across all teams including strategy, production and development.
  • Establish design parameters, style guides and visual standards for Interactive creative work.
  • Conduct creative reviews and represent interactive work in broader team reviews.
  • Teach/mentor the creative and account staff (inside and outside of the department) to raise competency levels and push work to greater heights.
  • Introduce and demand fresh ideas, concepts and approaches.
  • Engage with clients and help elicit clear direction on projects when necessary.
  • Develop necessary policies to direct and streamline the interactive process.
  • Collaborate as needed with developers as they build and test site designs.
  • Assists in new business pitches.
  • Continually think about ways to improve our product and resources.
Experience Requirements:
  • Strong conceptual and design skills including but not limited to website, applications, email and display.
  • Experience with managing/directing teams.
  • Highly proficient in a variety of technologies and tools, such as Flash, PhotoShop, Fireworks/ImageReady and Illustrator/Freehand.
  • Working knowledge of development languages and tools, such as HTML, DHTML, CSS and Java Script.
  • Must work well with dynamic content.
  • Strong communication, organizational and time management skills.
