Inbound Customer Service – Grove City
Pay range $12.50 up to $15.00

HKT Teleservices is looking for qualified advocates for a full time position. By joining our growing team, advocates will represent our MAPFRE client by helping their customers coordinate First Notice Of Loss (FNOL) claims via telephone for Auto, Homeowner and Business Policies.
If you are an expert in customer service with exceptional people skills, possess creative problem solving skills and great empathy, we want you on the TEAM. 

Shift Availability:
All applicants must be available to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours a week.  Our schedules are based on client needs and you will be assigned a fixed 8 hour shift anywhere between 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday –Sunday.  

Essential responsibilities:
  • Give excellent customer service to each person along with patience and great empathy.
  • Contact other departments and/or external organizations or parties to obtain or provide information that may be sensitive or complex to interpret.
  • Cross train on additional facets of the Contact Center as needed.
  • Apply knowledge and interpretation of policy coverages for multiple states and systems.
  • Complete file documentation to include clear and concise loss details, injury information, and appraisal information.
  • Answer billing and payment calls from agents, policy holders and other parties according to procedure.
  • Compose thoughtful and accurate messages to customer emails.
  • Work in a fast paced, high volume, and changing environment and skilled at multitasking.
  • Must be able to gather information to determine a customer’s needs, apply strong problem-solving skills and resolve the inquiry/request within guidelines.
  • Strive to gain new knowledge about product and service changes.
  • Proactively and independently work to meet targets and goals.
  • Available weekends, Holidays, and in case of severe weather or other emergency situations if applicable.
Required Experience:
  • Experience in a customer service or call center setting preferred.
  • Technical aptitude
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, and very proficient in verbal and written communication.
  • Strong phone data entry skills required.
  • Must be able to type a minimum of 30 adjusted words per minute.
  • Must be personable, and empathetic.
  • Ability to handle fast-paced work environments.
  • Must have at least average mathematical skills and aptitude.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus (Spanish/English)
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
