The North American Headquarters for Sofidel America is in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania with additional plants operating in six states (Florida, Wisconsin, Nevada, Oklahoma, Ohio, and Mississippi) as a tissue paper manufacturer for Consumer and Away-from-Home products.

The Receptionist will be responsible for supporting the corporate office for Sofidel America in administrative functions. These functions include but are not limited to receptionist, administrative/clerical support, travel management, and office and kitchen supply maintenance.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Travel Department with creating and confirming travel reservations for assigned staff and/or visitors.
  • Answers incoming telephone calls, and directs call to appropriate staff member, group or voice mail, or takes message from caller and email message.
  • Provides administrative/clerical support for corporate office as directed; photocopies and faxes documents; opens, sorts and distributes mail; checks and routes voicemail.
  • Greets guests, visitors, and vendors; announces to appropriate staff member. Issues temporary visitor stickers to guests and maintain logs of visitors.
  • Schedules appointments for leadership team as needed. Assist with travel arrangements and expenses.
  • Maintains the conference room schedules and reserves for designated times as requested.

Qualifications

Education :

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Required:

  • 3+ years’ of general work experience in customer service or administrative support.
  • Experience with MS Office products.
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25lbs.

Preferred:

  • Experience with scheduling/organizing travel plans in a professional role (flight, hotel, car rental).
  • Receptionist or Administrative Assistance experience.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Ability to communicate in Italian or Spanish.
