Material Handler- 2nd Shift
Summary:  Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near Plant or work site by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Loads and unloads freight from trucks as needed.
  • Confirms part quantity is correct and parts are in good condition and boxes are not damaged.
  • Stocks freight to appropriate storage locations.
  • Delivers parts in a timely manner to the production lines in first in -first out (FIFO) order.
  • Keys and/or scans inventory transactions into system when parts are to be taken to the production lines.
  • Plastic wrap skids/pallets on a daily basis.
  • Loads materials that are to be shipped to other facilities.
  • Manually loads and unloads materials on to or from skids/pallets, racks, and shelves.
  • Keeps record of IPP's that pass through the warehouse to the production lines.
  • Returns partial boxes of parts to stock location.
  • Unloads balers and compactors.
  • Responsible for recycling containers.
  • Operates forklifts, Cushman, pallet jacks, and turret truck.
Weastec fork-lift license required or the ability to obtain one
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to stand. The associate is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance; work in high, precarious places.
The associate must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Position: Quality Engineering Technician

Department: Quality Engineering Department

Job Description: Responsible for analyzing and responding to customer quality issues and other customer requirements. Must act as liaison between our customers and overseas plants to quickly resolve issues and present to customers.


• Work closely with the customer and plants to resolve quality issues

• Analysis of parts and ability to relay information to customer and plants

• Communicate customer requests to overseas plants and help acquire information to resolve


• Visit customers for quality issues and events to support activities involving our components

• Some travel required (domestic and international) to customers and our manufacturing plants

Essential Skills:

  1. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  2. Troubleshooting, problem analysis and resolution

  3. Ability to manage multiple projects

  4. Working knowledge of electrical schematics and test procedures

  5. Able to read drawings and interpret data

Position: Electrical Design Engineer

Department: Technical Engineering Department

Job Description: Responsible for the duties involved in the design, development, testing and trial production of interior electronic control units and switches.


- Work closely with customers in the following capacities:

1. Analyze market trends to determine specs for new products

2. Update and maintain specs for existing products

3. Perform integration testing in the actual vehicle environment

- Work with international design team to implement software functionality for ECU products.

- Perform software unit and integration testing. Generate verification reports to explain results

and concerns to customer

- Design test fixtures for in-house test bench

- Work on cross-functional teams within Weastec:

1. Develop product strategy and demonstration items with Sales

2. Aid Production Engineering with the design of line tester software

3. Aid Quality Engineering with Failure analysis

Essential Skills:

-Ability to communicate effectively and work closely with customers

-Proficient in C programming language

-Experience with microcontroller programming

-Knowledge of ECU communication protocols (CAN, LIN, UART, etc...)

-Basic understanding of digital circuit design and analysis

-Experience with standard electronics analysis tools

-Basic Windows application programming experience (for line testers and demo software)

-Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint & Excel)

Education & Experience:

-Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

-1 to 4 years design experience preferable
