Job Summary:
PatientPoint is looking for a full-time Senior Designer or Art Director (depending on qualifications). As a Senior Designer/Art Director, you will specialize in creating health-education materials for a variety of PatientPoint programs, ranging from print brochures and collateral for physician offices and hospital products to our digital interactive displays. The Senior Designer/Art Director is responsible for concepting and/or executing new, innovative multi-page templates for our programs year over year and taking ownership of the overall aesthetic while maintaining brand consistency. This role requires a dedication to detail and organization, and the candidate must be capable of prioritizing various projects at once. The Senior Designer must have the ability to make complicated health information easy to understand and use explanation graphics and imagery where possible to enhance key messages. This role will manage a small team consisting of a designer and production artist, and work closely with the Sr. Content Director to ensure high-quality and on-time delivery of materials. You must have a proven ability to conceptualize and design high-end, highly creative, professional graphics. You must be comfortable working as part of a collaborative, dynamic, forward-thinking, diverse and dedicated creative team.

Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of design principles: layout, grid systems, typography, style sheets, color, and imagery
  • Experience with creating multi-page templates for print
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, time/project management and organizational ability
  • Solid communication, collaboration and presentation skills
  • Adept layout skills for both print and digital in various formats: printed guides, posters, display ads, digital displays
  • Attention to detail throughout the concepting, design and graphic production process
  • Ability to take ownership of products and juggle multiple projects and still meet necessary deadlines
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, independent worker capable of executing project guidelines without continuous oversight
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) and Microsoft Office with an understanding of the latest trends in design and the ever-changing digital landscape. Mac platform.
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design
  • 5+ years of experience working as a graphic designer
  • Experience managing other creatives
