                    Construction laborer
 
Labor job duties are continually changing depending on the requirements of each project. Laborers are expected to assist in the general operation of each job site. The position consists of but is not limited to the following duties:
  Flagging traffic;
Set up and maintenance of erosion control;
Loading and unloading of materials;
Shoveling and raking dirt, gravel, and asphalt;
General clean up around job site;
Checking and maintaining grade stakes;
Set up and maintenance of all traffic control aids;
Operating small equipment such as rollers and power brooms;
General maintenance of all equipment and tools.
   The above listed duties require periods of standing, walking, stooping and bending. Employee must be able to climb a ladder and may be required to work at a height over 6 feet. Also requires periodic lifting of up to 50 pounds. The job duties described herein are not exhaustive and may be supplemented.
