Production Opportunities - Packers, Inspectors, Line Leaders
The Superior Die, Tool & Machine Company is a family-owned manufacturer of Stamping Dies, Sheet Metal Stampings and Machining services.  We provide machining services throughout the Midwest for all types of machining work.  We have two plants located in Columbus, Ohio servicing the automotive, agriculture and heavy truck industries. 
We are currently seeking candidates to fill key positions within our production operations.   Flexibility and a willingness to work overtime are a must.
Applicants with the following experience, education or training are encouraged to apply:
  • Working knowledge and experience with quality precision measuring tools such as micrometer, calipers and good attention to detail.
  • Candidates with formal education in skilled trades / vocational school programs. 
  • Experience with material reporting control systems would be a bonus
  • Experience with high volume counting and packaging in a production setting would be ideal – especially in automotive or metal stamping operations
  • Candidates with mechanical aptitude are ideal and able to keep up with a high volume production setting.   The lifting requirements range from 10-pounds to 60-pounds on a continuous basis.
  • Forklift operations experience – especially with moving heavier loads such as 30k lbs forklift capacity
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel and Outlook are needed.
Working Hours / Shifts:                   Day Shift / Night Shift
Our first shift begins at 6:00 AM and our night begins at 6:00 PM for a 12-hour shift or 4:30 PM for a 10-hour shift.  The 10-hour shifts to 12-hour shifts are common.  The willingness to work overtime is required.
