Job Overview
The Data Feed Specialist formulates policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management, and monitors transaction activity and utilization. Job responsibilities include using the DBMS to make data accessible to programmers and end users, and ensuring the validity of data contained in a database file.
Education, Certification & Minimum Experience
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Attributes
  • Sufficient business and technical knowledge relating to the processing of data feeds
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing data feeds and identifying and correcting discrepancies
  • Experience working with very large data files and using data / product feed file templates
  • 2+ years with working with structured and unstructured data for ingest into a variety ofapplications.
  • Demonstrated experience with computer file management in Windows and UNIX/Linux environment.
  • Experience with a variety of scripting languages (such as csh, perl)
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to perform with minimum direction
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment with changing priorities
  • Ability to foster a collaborative environment and a culture of process improvement
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Professionalism in appearance and work habits
