Our team is currently looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic / Truck Technician to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service. Diesel Mechanic performs all technical duties of a technician in service and repair of a heavy duty truck trailer and work on overhauling and maintaining diesel engines and automatic transmissions used to operate trucks, generators, and other equipment by performing the following essential duties.  Other duties may be assigned.
Diesel Mechanic - Specialize in the repair of Detroit Diesel Engines
Service and repair work, drive train, floor work, steering, electrical, suspension and brakes.
Troubleshooting and inspections
Inspect engine or transmission for conformance to standard. Diagnose cause of non conformance. Identify corrective action necessary to correct non conformance.
Diagnose and repair basic equipment wiring.
Paper work and/or R/O documentation.
Basic computer literacy and good verbal communication skills
Must be able to work independently
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS    -  Diesel Mechanic 
Valid Driver's License, Commercial Drivers License (CDL) preferred or must be able to obtain within 6 months
Detroit Diesel Certification Preferred 
Allison Transmission Certification a Plus
