Role Summary:
Abrasive Technology is looking for an experienced leader with a proven past as a cultural change agent.  The position also requires a sound ability to develop and build relationships, and the ability to be a liaison between the business and the process.  This individual possesses strong skills relating to product flow, process development, prioritization, budgeting/forecasting, and team development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Lead the manufacturing processes of our Lewis Center (Columbus) facility
•    Serves as a dynamic change agent and drives value based cultural change within manufacturing operations
•    Establish strong, effective, and collaborative partnerships with leadership team
•    Build relationships with associates and provide developmental coaching to encourage growth
•    Encourage bold, diverse thinking and ideas to identify novel approaches within the organization
•    Developing a system that utilizes a team problem solving approach to resolve issues in manufacturing
•    Define and monitor metrics to target improvements in customer satisfaction, productivity, cost, quality and delivery
•    Identify and re-engineer throughput, flow and bottlenecks on a continual improvement basis
•    Communicate with the team across shifts to ensure an understanding of company goals and values
•    Work to maintain a balance for the needs of associates, company and customers
•    Ability to travel up to 10% of the time: overnight travel included
•    Define and monitor annual budget and goals; allocate resources
•   Ability to walk, stand, and wear PPE in a manufacturing setting for 2+ hours at a time
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
•    A Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related filed (required)
•    A Master’s degree in Business Administration (preferred)
•    At least 5 years of leadership and operations management experience in a manufacturing facility is required
•    The ability to identify, review, design, re-engineer and document process/plant tasks, throughput, flow, and   
      bottlenecks on a continual improvement basis and/or as changes warrant
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability and desire to listen, are a must
•    Ability to perform root-cause analysis and effectively work with teams to solve problems
•    Ability to work both independently and in a diverse team environment
