Manufacturing Coach
Are you a transformational leader who is committed to serving others?  Who is interested in working interdependently with other team members to bring about change and organizational success?  Abrasive Technology is looking for you to join our leadership team in our Lewis Center, OH manufacturing facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Know, understand and support short- and long-term business strategies
  • Coach, counsel, support and inspire process teams and associates
  • Identify and support a collaborative, team-oriented approach to conflict resolution
  • Ensure each associate understands their process and task expectations
  • Be a steward of associate learning and development in a PCO culture
  • Develop associate training plans that positively influence the process
  • Assess the current and future resource needs for headcount, training, and productivity
  • Identify associate development gaps and collaboratively plan performance improvement actions
  • Partner with human resources to support organizational processes and guidelines
  • Creates trust and influence to cause the right things to happen for the right reasons
  • Support, promote and evolve organizational values, beliefs and culture
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree (required) with preferred focus in Manufacturing, Organizational Development, Business Management, or related field
  • Minimum three to five years of Leadership experience in development, training, or related talent management experience
  • Ability to work both independently and within a diverse team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability and willingness to listen, learn and teach.
