Decypher is seeking a Healthcare Services Administrator to provide support to the U.S. Air Force in Dayton, OH
  • Healthcare and program management design activities for the Human Performance Operations Center (HPOC) and the Air Force Medical Home (AFMH)
  • Planning, designing, and re-engineering healthcare delivery and management processes
  • Design and optimize healthcare system performance to meet quality goals (patient centeredness, timeliness, etc.) and other performance goals (such as cost, access, and productivity)
  • Interface with a wide variety of AFMS functional communities
  • Providing human-centered design and integration expertise, identifying requirements and risk associated with manpower levels, personnel skills, training, human factors engineering, environment, safety, occupational health, survivability
  • Provide consultation and analyses to support a more comprehensive consideration of the human element in the assessment and analysis of capability gaps related to the CONOPs design and implementation
  • Provide inputs to HSI Working Groups regarding resource requirements, process improvements, shortfalls, and lessons learned implementing HSI in the Air Force Medical Service
  • Plan and carry out work to provide continuous HSI assessment and evaluation of overall program and individual project goals, objectives, strategies, performance to ensure a sound basis for long-range acquisition and medical program management processes and follow-on system life cycle support planning
  • Participate in outcome-based performance measures to suggest reform initiatives to reduce total ownership costs and meet customer requirements
  • Master’s degree in one or more of the following: health care administration, human systems integration, hospital administration, public administration, business administration, business management, information systems management, finance, accounting, statistics, marketing, economics, or other business-related equivalent
  • Mandatory knowledge of Air Force health services management; hospital administration and practice; contractual and accounting fundamentals; quality management; and human resource management
  • At least 5 years’ experience in one or more of the following core functions: 1) Group Practice Management, 2) Medical Resource Management, 3) Healthcare administration/management, 4) Medical Logistics, 5) Health Plan Management, 6) Healthcare information management and information technology, 7) Human systems integration
  • Background in financial management, Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) manpower/resource management, medical logistics, medical information management and information systems, and AF personnel processes and experience in the Air Force as a medical administrator or an Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) 41A equivalent
